We are recruiting for the following vacancies at Cloch Housing Association:

Asset Officer

The Role

At Cloch Housing Association, our vision is simple: to deliver homes and services which exceed customer expectations. As we continue to invest in our homes and strengthen our services, we're looking for an Asset Officer to join our Property Services team and help shape the future of our housing stock and communities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with technical or construction skills, such as a quantity or building surveyor, someone from a trade background, or an existing housing property officer who wants to make a genuine difference and be part of a supportive and ambitious team. You will help us ensure that the 1,500 homes we provide across Inverclyde are a strong basis for our customers to thrive.

The Property Services team delivers a broad range of services, including reactive repairs, void management, landscape maintenance, planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, compliance activities and asset management. We also provide a factoring service to around 300 owner occupiers across Inverclyde. We have recently undergone a significant amount of change, including the introduction of new software and a new Director, and are now looking to consolidate this progress while continuing to drive improvement in everything we do.

As Asset Officer, you'll work closely with colleagues, contractors and customers, playing a key role in:

  • Asset management and investment planning
  • Planned and cyclical maintenance programmes
  • Compliance and building safety
  • Contractor and project management
  • Contract administration
  • Procurement and value for money
  • Property performance and data analysis
  • Service improvement and innovation

This is not a role where you'll be confined to one specialism. It offers the opportunity to develop broad technical experience across a range of property services activities while helping to shape services that make a real difference to people's lives.

The full job description and person specification for the post can be found within our recruitment pack.
