Cloch has been made aware of a potential safety issue where a small number of “Ideal” (manufacturer name) gas combi boilers may require to be repaired. The risk is deemed to only affect 1 in 10,000 boilers where the fault could cause the boiler to overheat and fail.
This relates ONLY to “Ideal” boilers which were manufactured between August 2022 and January 2024.
We are working with our partner contractor – James Frew to identify if we have any boilers that may fall into this category and if so we will be in touch as a priority. Please note all appliances in the recently completed development at Kings Glen ARE NOT AFFECTED.
If you have an “Ideal” boiler, you can check if it is affected via the attached link www.idealsupport.co.uk. This will provide you with instructions on how to check this. Should your boiler be included and require the safety upgrade, and if we haven’t been in touch with you, please let us know by phoning Cloch on 01474 783637.
